Ben and Andi met through a mutual friend at a local Atlanta neighborhood bar called Hand in Hand, they immediately hit it off giving each other a hard time for their hockey allegiances, Andi the superior Philadelphia Flyers, and Ben the Pittsburgh Penguins. They exchanged numbers because they realized they were living in the same apartment complex and Andi was new to the area, trying to make friends, and later that night Ben was already texting Andi asking her out to dinner. Although while Andi lived in Atlanta they really just became friends, when she moved back to Philadelphia they continued to talk, and after a few months, Ben realized how much he missed having Andi around. Eventually, Ben invited Andi to a wedding with him in September of 2013, and the rest was history! She even convinced him to move to his most hated city (she wasn't joking about their serious hockey allegiances)!
After this great love story evovled more, Ben put his best foot forward to plan an amazing proposal. He asked me to hide out in the corner of the room with a perfect view of his planned proposal. His sister flew in to assist in every detail. He left nothing undone, as you will see in the photos. Even this photographer was tearing up a little as I watched it all happen. A very touching moment indeed.
